Below are a few tips & suggestions to make designing your sign & engraving products as hassle free as possible.
Design work for our range of sign & engraving products is complimentary*, provided that reasonable artwork is supplied.
* Subject to assessment and approval by our design department.

Digital Artwork (computerised):

There are two types of digital artwork; vector artwork (line drawing) and graphic artwork (image or photo). We can accept either for your design, however we prefer vector artwork if possible.
If supplying vector artwork we can accept CorelDRAW (.cdr), Adobe Illustrator (.ai), EPS (.eps) or PDF (.pdf) files. Please convert your text to curves or provide the required font files if supplying vector artwork.
If supplying graphic artwork, please send us the highest resolution image possible (300dpi or higher). Lower resolutions may incur an artwork fee.

Printed Artwork (stationary):

If you do not have a computerised copy of your logo we can re-draw the required artwork from your office stationary. A well printed business card, letterhead or other stationary item is all we need.
* Re-drawing of your logo from stationary may incur an artwork charge.

Colours and Printing:

We offer a range of colour options for our sign and engraving products including full colour printed vinyl, laser cut vinyl, paint filled engraving and pad printing.
Depending on the complexity and desired effect of your colour additions, we can advise on the best solution for your chosen products. We offer both solid colour fills for you logos, as well as semi-transparent colours (available on clear acrylic, glass and crystal products) for a more elegant effect.
In most circumstances where PMS colours are supplied we can provide a close match, however exact colour matches are not always available due to vinyl colour limitations.
Colour additions incur an additional fee based on a per colour, per item scale.

Fonts and Text:

We offer a large range of standard fonts for our sign and engraving products, as well as the ability to use any true-type font requested. In the event that we do not have a requested font, it must be supplied in true-type format by the customer.
Our design department can suggest suitable fonts for your products based on the overall effect, legibility and text size required for your design.
A rule of thumb for text on most of our products is to limit the amount to what is neccessary, as too much text can often leave your product looking cluttered and less ordered. Our design department can also advise on the best solution for saying what you need to say while keeping your design balanced and elegant.
